About Us

Indian Hills Garden club is located in the southwestern corner of Michigan. We are a group of over 40 people from St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, Stevensville and surrounding areas with common interests in gardening. We aim to further gardening knowledge by providing education, resources, and network opportunities for our members and community. We have been active since 1929!

April Meeting
Committee updates focused on upcoming activities including the Arboretum updates, Plant it Forward, Krasl Art Center Planters, Local Concerns, Pollinator and Gardening with Purpose. The film on the history of the St. Joseph River was fascinating and we all learned more about the key river in our area.

Wellfield Botanic Garden Tour

Discover Wellfield Botanic Gardens via a special guided tour planned especially for our club. Wellfield features over 20 themed garden areas, including a Japanese "Island Garden" and has 36 gorgeous acres including 18 acres of lakes, streams, waterfalls and other water features.

There is a fee of $5 for members of Fernwood Botanic Garden and $13 for those who are not members of Fernwood.
